Our Pool Hours are:
- 10:00AM - 12 Noon
- 1:00PM - 5:00PM
- 6:00PM - 8:PM
Campground Rules are simple.
- Don't disturb your neighbours.
- Don't damage the Park property.
Quiet times are strictly enforced during the following times:
- 11PM - 9AM Sunday to Thursday.
- Midnight - 9AM Friday/Saturday (and Sundays on long weekends).
- No music or loud noise is permitted during these times!!!
- Drunkenness or noisy parties will not be tolerated at any time of day.
LIABILITY:
The owners and staff of ponderosa campground DO NOT accept liability for Accidents or Injury of any kind, resulting from use of the grounds and facility of the park. We DO NOT accept responsibility for the damage or loss of any personal property brought into the park.
INSURANCE:
It is the seasonal campers responsibility to have adequate trailer and libility insurance coverage. Please provid a copy of your insurance policy to the park office. The ponderosa campground will not be held responsible or liable for any property damage, , Injury, Fire, collision or theft. the use of campground facilities for you, your family and your guests is at your own risk.
SEASONAL SITE:
All seasonal sites must be kept tidy. Seasonal campers are responsible for the maintenance of their sites. keeping the grass cut and the site clean. Fuilure to do so will result in the park staff cleaning your site and a $ 50 charge for each occurance. Due to high power cost turn off all electrical decoration light after midnight. Any other additional energy consumption is subject to approval by park management.
ADD OR REPAIR:
All add a room, deck, fence sheds, owning, driveways or additional to your site must be approved by park management, before start instalation or constrouction. Add a rooms MUST NOT be permanent structure. If deemed permanent by MPAC than campers will liable for taxes a identified by park management. ponderosa campground management reserve the right to remove any adding or additions from the sites and campers will be responsible for expenses.
SELLING, MOVING:
If you decide to sell your trailer or move out, Please be adviced that the site DOES NOT automaticlly transfer to the new purchaser. purchaser and age of the trailer must be approved by park management.Trailers or sites ARE NOT allowed to be subletted to any one at any time. Ponderosa campground will not store or dispose of old trailer, it is your responsibility to remove the trailer off the property.
STORAGE:
Storing vehicles,utility trailers, boats, snowmobiles, dirt bikes, ATV's, or additional camping units on any site IS NOT permitted.
GATE:
Any camper's or person using their gate card to let cars in or out at any time will be responsible for the $ 200 ( two hundred ) dollers fine and hitting the gate or breaking the gate cost of repairing. Abuse of this gate will be subject to suspention/termination the campground emidatly with out any refound and notice. sensor are in place to insure the gate closes after each vehicle drives through. one car at a time please. Lost cards must be reported to the park office immediately. Ponderosa campground will not responsible for any damaged done to a vehicle.
TREE'S:
NO cutting , Defacing, Nailing, Removal ( dead or alive ) of trees, etc. Are permitted on park property including sites. Permission MUST be obtained from the park management in all cases. Ropes or clotheslines around trees or branches are NOT permitted. Satellite dishes must not be mounted on trees or off the Seasonal Occupant's site.Trees, tree branches must not be removed to allow better satellite reception.
POOL:
Lifeguards are on duty unless posted otherwise and proper swim suits are required in the pool. Absolutely NO entrance to pool or pool area is permitted when gates are locked. Parents or Guardian MUST supervise childern under 16 ( sixteen ) of years. NO pushing or boisterous play is allowed within the pool enclousure. SMOKING, FOOD, or DRINK are not permitted in the swimming pool area. Please read pool rules upon entering pool area.
FIRE WOOD:
The Asian long horned beetle & the Emerald Ash Borer are both destructive beetles which we do not want at our campground. NO firewood can be brought in from outside the park. Fire wood has to be purchased from the park office only. as per ministry of natural resources regulation.
SPEED LIMIT 10km/hr
This is our little piece of heaven. Please do not drive through it like $#!! Only licensed, sober drivers are permitted to drive your vehicle. Cars must be parked once you arrive at your site-no touring of campground roads in your vehicle is permitted.
FIRES:
Must be kept away from trees and be attended by an adult at all times. Fire must be kept in 2 ( two ) feet high and in the fire rings. Fire must be extinguished before retiring for the night or leaving your site.
RECREATION HALL:
No glass bottles or glasses are permitted in our rec hall. Please be sure beverages are kept in plastic or cans. Bottles are not permitted to be carried around the campground.
GARBAGE:
Must be placed in plastic bags and disposed of in the bins. Large articles such as fridges, B,B,Q , mattres, bicycles, lawnmor, toilet sink, tv's, microwave, furnitur, batteries, propane cylinders..............ets. Are your responsibility and expense. They are NOT to be left near the bins or in park property. NO garbage from out side the park is permitted. Only regular house hold garbage is allowed to be disposed of at the garbage bins.
RECYCLING:
The recycling items glass, cans, bottle, papers, must be put in blue bins.
FIRE WORK:
NO fireworks are permitted.
CHILDREN:
17 years and younger must be with a parent or guardian after 10:00 pm and must not be left alone in the park at any time.
PETS:
Must be kept on a leash at all times and not be allowed to bother campers. Please stoop and scoop. Pit bulls are not permitted.
GOLF CART:
Only electric golf carts are permitted. Only person with valid driver's licence shall be permitted to drive a golf cart. NO person under the influence of alcohol shall be permitted to drive a golf cart. proof of liability insurance has to be provided to the park office.golf cart must have lights on front and back to be operated after dusk. golf carts are to be operated on roads only.
BICYCLES:
NO bicycle riding in the campground after dark.
VISITORS:
All visitors/guests must register at the park office before entering the park and park their vehicles in the visitors parking and walk in to the park. daily visitor/guests must leave the campground by 10:00 PM. Parking fee ( $ ) will apply for over night visitors/guests. Each seasonal camper is responsible for their visitors/guests and must acquaint them with rules of the park. All seasonal campers are responsible for the action and safety of their visitors/guests. seasonal camper will be responsible for any damage or vandalism by their visitors/guests. VISITORS HOURS: 9:00 am TO 10:00 pm
PARKING:
Parking in the road way or on the lawns IS NOT ALLOWD. Please park on your site. A maximum of 2 cars per site is permitted. All other cars must park on the parking lot be side the office.
PAYMENT:
Payment shall be made following the payment schedule. If final payment is not received by the due date ponderosa campground management reserves the right to charge a late fee. Also, if any payment are still due by may 1 (first) camper will not able to use the site. Please pay on time, it will cost you less.
TERMINATION:
This is a privately owned campground and we reserve the right to select our campers and visitors. Any infraction of the park rules will result in camping privileges being revoked and charges will be applied for damage.
POLICY ON VIOLATIONS:
1st- a verbal warning; 2nd- a written warning; 3rd- termination of camping privileges.
Depending on the severity of the violation, a first-time rules & regulation violation may be subject to termination of camping privileges.
CANCELLATION:
There is a $ 15 dollers cancellation fee after time of booking. Within 7 (seven ) days of arrival the entire reservation be comes NON-REFUNDABLE. There are no refound/rain check for bad weather or early depature.
NO REFUNDS:
NO Refuds, NO rain check for early departure.
The management reserves the right to eject without notice or refund any objectionable person who causes a disturbance or becomes a nuisance.
